Undergraduate Admission Fall 2025

Online applications are invited on the prescribed forms for admission to the following Undergraduate Degree Programs at The University of Agriculture, Peshawar (Main Campus & Amir Muhammad Khan (AMK) Campus, Mardan).

1. Admission Forms & bank receipt can be downloaded from The University of Agriculture, Peshawar, official Web Portal http://portal.aup.edu.pk/ from 14-07-2025.
2. All the applicants shall download bank receipt from the university official web portal and deposit Rs.1000/- (Non-Refundable) in any branch of Habib Bank Limited, Pakistan. Candidates applying for multiple categories / reserved seats will deposit Rs.500/- (Non-Refundable) for each additional apply.
3. Hard copy of application form complete in all aspects along with attested copies of documents & original bank receipt must reach on or before 15/08/2025 to Directorate of Teaching, University of Agriculture, Peshawar.
4. Candidates applying on reserved seats must submit nomination letter from the nominating agencies while sending hard copy of application form. All the nominating agencies are requested to send nomination letters till 10/08/2025.
5. Merit for admission to the Bachelor Degree Programs shall be determined on the basis of combined percentage of marks obtained in SSC (40% weight) & HSSC or equivalent Part-I, 1st year (60% weight). However, the applicant admitted on HSSC Part-I (1st year) marks cannot claim adjustment after the result declaration. Admission granted on HSSC Part-I (1st Year) marks will remain provisional until the declaration of HSSC Part-II (2nd Year) results. The provisional admission of those candidates who fail to meet the minimum eligibility criteria in HSSC Part-II (2nd Year)result will be cancelled as per university rules and fees will be refunded.
6. Candidates who have attained or shall attain the age of 25 years on the last date of the submission of application forms shall not be eligible for admission to Bachelor degree programs. Admission will be granted on merit and availability of seats in the following Bachelor degree programs as per eligibility criteria mentioned against each:

Note:

1. Schedule of Merit list will be displayed on University official website after last date of submission of forms. Rules & regulations regarding Admission, Examinations, Hostels etc. and Fee Structure are available on the University official website. Hostel facilities will be provided on merit and availability of seats.
2. The University is awarding scholarships for the financial needs of the needy students through HEC, USAID and number of other Scholarships as well as awarding scholarships to the students on high academic achievements.

Admission Notice
Fall Semester 2025
MBA, M.Phil, MS, M.Sc (H) and PhD Degree Programs

The University of Agriculture Peshawar is a unique and specialized institution in Agriculture as well as allied sciences established in 1981. It provides best learning environment for postgraduate studies in Agriculture and allied disciplines under the supervision of highly qualified faculty and believes in producing leaders, entrepreneurs and professionals.

Admission Schedule:

1. Online University Admission Test (UAT) application forms are available on University admission portal http://portal.aup.edu.pk/ from 07-07-2025.
2. Last date for submission of hard copy of Admission Test forms to the DASAR office on or before 18.07.2025.
3. University Admission Test will be held on 26.07.2025.
4. Online admission forms will be available on University admission portal http://portal.aup.edu.pk/ from 04.08.2025.
5. The admission forms along with required attested documents be submitted to the concerned Departments/Institutes by 13.08.2025.

UNIVERSITY ADMISSION TEST:

1. GAT (General) will be conducted for admission in all Master Degree Programs and GAT (subject) for all PhD Degree Programs.
2. 50% qualifying score is required for M.Sc. (H), M.Phil, MBA and MS degree programs.
3. 60% qualifying score is required for all PhD degree programs.
4. GAT (General) / GAT (Subject) is also acceptable arranged by NTS.
   

How to Apply:

1. Candidates shall apply online for admission test on University website (www.aup.edu.pk) or direct link http://portal.aup.edu.pk/ separately for each discipline.
2. Copy of Admission test form along with receipt ofRs.1500/- (Non-Refundable) to be deposited in AC# 14877902286403 Habib Bank Ltd Branch, University of Agriculture Peshawar, shall be submitted to the DASAR Office on or before 18.07.2025.
3. Candidate who secures the qualifying test score shall deposit admission processing fee of Rs.1500/-( Non-Refundable) in the above account and submit the form along with required documents and bank receipt to concerned Department / Institute on or before 13.08.2025.
4. All those candidates whose results are awaited, can also apply for admission test only, however, provisional certificate/degree must be submitted for admission on or before the interview date.
5. Details about the admission schedule are available on the University website.
6. Only those candidates who have submitted the University Admission Test Form to the DASAR office within the due date will be allowed in the entry test. No forms will be entertained after the due date.
