- Microbial status of vegetables irrigated from local irrigation water sources.
- Employing plant growth promoting bacteria in phytoremediation of foodborne pathogens and toxic metals from wastewater.

- Overseas PhD scholarship from Higher Education Commission, Pakistan under Strengthening and development of Agriculture University Peshawar, Pakistan.
- Best poster award at 2nd symposium on horticulture in Europe, SHE2012, at Angers (France).
- Postdoc fellowship under PIFI, Chinese Academy of Sciences, December 2017 on “The endophytic community diversity of wheat in Sichuan-Tibetan-Pakistan plateau and their antagonistic potential against stripe rust”
