About Faculty
The Faculty Crop Production Sciences (FCPS) is one of the major faculties in the University of Agriculture Peshawar, headed by Dean FCPS. Being a major Faculty, it shares maximum academic load in terms of student's number, teaching and research. The Faculty FCPS is imparting education in the fields of:-
- AGRICULTURAL MECHANIZATION AND RENEWABLE ENERGY TECHNOLOGIES
- AGRONOMY
- PLANT BREEDING AND GENETICS
- HORTICULTURE
- SOIL AND ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES
- WATER MANAGEMENT RESOURCES
- INSTITUTE OF BIOTECHNOLOGY AND GENETIC ENGINEERING
- CLIMATE CHANGE CENTER
- AMK SUB- CAMPUS MARDAN
The Faculty FCPS has extended academic programs in Agronomy, Horticulture, SES and WRM at AMK Campus Mardan. Additionally, the Faculty FCPS has academic and administrative control of two Research Farms at the main campus and AMK sub-campus Mardan. Besides handsome amount of income generation for the University, it also serves the farming community by providing them high yielding quality wheat and Maize seed for commercial cultivation.
