Regulations Relating to Scholarships
- The University shall award the scholarships received from Government, from its own funds, and from other agencies.
- Scholarships shall be awarded annually on merit to those students who have passed in all papers.
- The scholarships will be awarded on merit on the recommendations of the scholarships committee constituted by the Vice Chancellor to students who are not in receipt of any scholarship from any other source.
- Scholarships will be awarded on academic record, interest in studies, and general academic progress; general standard of conduct, behaviour and discipline; and for refraining from activities unbecoming of a student and from conduct detrimental to the interest of the country, its people. and the University.
- No student shall be entitled to double concession i.e. availing of more than one scholarship.
- The student shall be allowed to choose the scholarship most beneficial to him. This option shall be obtained in writing and kept in record.
- The Vice Chancellor shall sanction the University scholarships, on the recommendations of the scholarship committee constituted by the Vice Chancellor.
- Scholarships shall be awarded for a period of 12 months.
- Students in service shall not be awarded scholarships, and financial aid.
- 75% attendance as compulsory condition for availing the opportunity of getting scholarship.
