Applications on prescribed form are invited from Pakistani/AJK nationals for award of Ph.D Scholarships in the disciplines of Climatology & Meteorology with respect to Integrated Water Resource Management and Climate Change & Crop Modeling (Observation and Projection in Agriculture), Faculty Development Programme under PSDP Funded Project "Establishment of Technology Development Center (TDC) at the University of Agriculture, Peshawar.

1.	(1). Climatology & Meteorology with respect to Integrated Water Resource Management (2). Climate Change & Crop Modeling (Observation and Projection in Agriculture	First division MS/M.Phil/M.Sc (Hons) (in annual examination system) or CGPA 3.0 out of 4.0 or 75 % marks (in semester system) in the relevant field i.e. Agricultural Sciences and Environmental Sciences. Maximum two second divisions and no third division throughout Academic career. Must have obtained requisite qualification on or before closing date i.e 15 June 2020. Those who are availing any other scholarship are not eligible to apply.	i. 35 years for all others ii. 40 years for full time faculty members of University.

The application form must accompany Bank receipt or Demand Draft of RS.1500/- (non refundable) in the University main (Account No.14870007450701) Habib Bank Limited (HBL), the University of Agriculture, Peshawar.
Applications with attested copies of all degree, certificates and diplomas or equivalent certificates regarding any credentials, medals/distinction certificates and years-wise detailed marks certificates, experience certificates should reach the undersigned on or before 22 June 2020.
Fresh candidates, other than regular faculty member of Agriculture University Peshawar will go through the selection process independently carried out by the University.
Successful scholars will be appointed without pay & allowances till completion of their studies. The emoluments will start once they join the University of Agriculture, Peshawar after successful completion of the studies abroad.
In service applicant and faculty members from other universities will also through the same selection procedure mentioned at S.No.4 above; in case they are eligible for award of scholarship.
Award of Scholarship will only be confirmed after appointment of successful candidate(s) as faculty and grant of study leave as per Statutes,2016/rules of the University of Agriculture, Peshawar.
The University may conduct scholarship test and/or interview for short-listing. The candidates will be informed about test/interview via email/letter.
Incomplete applications or received after closing date shall not be entertained. No TA/DA shall be paid for attending test/ interview.
Awardees will have to execute a bond inter alia containing the condition to serve University of Agriculture, Peshawar for at least 5 years after completion of Ph.D.

The maximum amount to be paid to successful candidate/faculty is Rs.8.534 Million for a maximum period of Four years, including all categories of expenditures i.e. stipend, fee, economy class air tickets, etc.
