Applications on prescribed form are invited from Pakistani/AJK nationals for award of PhD Scholarships in the discipline of Climatology and Meteorology with respect to Integrated Water Resource Management and Climate Change and Crop Modeling (Observation and Projection in Agriculture), Faculty Development Programme under PSDP funded Project "Establishment of Technology Development Centre (TDC)" at 'The University of Agriculture, Peshawar.

S.#	Nomenclature of post	Eligibility Criteria	Age limit
1.	(1). Climatology and Meteorology with respect to Water Resource Management. (2). Climate Change and Crop Modeling (Observation and Projection in Agriculture)	First division M.S./ M.Phil./M.Sc. (Hons) (in annual examination system) or CGPA 3.00 out of 4.00 or 75 % marks (in semester system) in the relevant field, i.e. Agricultural Sciences and Environmental Sciences. Maximum two second divisions and no third division throughout academic career. Must have obtained requisite qualification on or before closing date, i.e. 27.01.2021. Those who are availing any other scholarship are not eligible to apply.	(a). 35 years for all others (b). 40 years for full time faculty members of University.

The application form must accompany the Bank Receipt or Demand Draft of RS.1500/- (non-refundable) in the University main Account No.14870007450701, Habib Bank Limited, The University of Agriculture, Peshawar.
Applications with attested copies of all degrees, certificates and diplomas or equivalent certificates regarding any credentials, medals/distinction certificates and years-wise detailed marks certificates, experience certificates should reach the undersigned on or before 27.01.2021.
Fresh candidates other than regular faculty member of the University of Agriculture, Peshawar will go through the selection process independently carried out by the University.
Successful scholars will be appointed without pay and allowances till completion of their studies.
The emoluments will start once they join the University of Agriculture, Peshawar after successful completion of their studies abroad.
In-service applicants and faculty members from other Universities will also go through the same selection procedure mentioned at S.No.4 above; in case they are eligible for award of scholarship.
Award of scholarship will only be confirmed after appointment of successful candidate(s) as faculty and grant of study leave as per Statutes, 2016/rules, The University of Agriculture, Peshawar.
The University may conduct a scholarship test and/ or interview for shortlisting.
The candidates will be informed about test/interview via email/letters.
Incomplete applications or received after closing date will not be entertained.
No TA/DA shall be paid for attending test/interview
Awardees will have to execute bond inter alia containing the condition of serving the University of Agriculture, Peshawar for at least 5 years after completion of PhD.

The maximum amount to be paid to the successful candidate/faculty is Rs.8.534 Million for a maximum period of four years including all categories of expenditures, i.e. stipend, fee, economy class air ticket etc.
