PhD Written Comprehensive Examination

It is notified for the information of all concerned that Written Comprehensive Examination of Ph.D students will be held in March 2023, for Major Paper-I, II and Minor Paper-III.
All Advisors of Ph.D programme are requested to process cases of those Ph.D students who have completed their course work requirements and are ready to appear in the Written Comprehensive Examination. It is further notified that "The chairperson/director in consultation with the chairperson supervisory committee shall prepare a list containing names of 03 full time Ph.D faculty members, who have taught courses at Ph.D level to the scholar in Major and Minor fields respectively", as per clause-35.7 of Rules and Regulations (Post Graduate Degree Programe) 2017-onward. The case, complete in all respect alongwith student's course work proforma and copy of DMC, may be submitted to the office of the undersigned on or before February 28, 2023 through Directorate of Advanced Studies and Research.
NOTE:
- Incomplete cases or cases received after due date will not be entertained.
- Concerned Advisors should include cell number and e-mail address of each faculty member of the panel of 03 examiners in the form for Major and Minor field respectively.
