The main aim of the directorate is to promote the prosperous and flourishing of every graduate and postgraduate student of this university through an array of programs and services:

TOR of the Directorate:
  • To guide and motivate students towards positive activities.
  • To Provide Services to Foreign Students.
  • To determine employment needs for graduates both in public and private sectors.
  • To facilitate effective linkages between the University and the prospective employers for placement of graduates in employment.
  • To help/ develop courses on "Entrepreneurship" in consultation with IBMS, ORIC and FAD offices for the students.
  • To Provide oorientation and guidance services for new entrants to acquaint them to the University life.
  • To render educational and Occupational Information Services.
  • To focus on counselling and Advisory Services may include personal, social, emotional and financial problems.
  • To build good image of the University.
  • To get follow-up Services.
  • To give high priority to co-curricular and extracurricular activities, where students are provided ample opportunities to participate and groom their leadership abilities to shine at national/international level.
For this purpose, University of Agriculture, Peshawar sponsored several student welfare organizations, societies and clubs to engage our students in various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities at the campus. Each organization is headed by a Focal Person and a Deputy Organizer (DO). The Focal Person shall select a functioning body comprised of President, Vice President, Secretary, Press Secretary and Finance Secretary amongst the student members for one academic year (Two semesters).
