INTRODUCTION:

Agricultural University Public School & College (Girls), was established in 1996, to meet the ever increasing needs of children education of Agricultural University's employees in particular and the adjoining areas in general. Initially the school was started in a residence on the Campus focusing on primary classes for both boys and girls.

The Girls Section was extended, improved and upgraded to Higher Secondary School in 2002. Four Laboratories, one each for Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Computer Sciences have been established.

By the grace of Almighty Allah, AUPS & C (Girls) has emerged, within a short period of time, as a very quality educational Institution and has attained a high standard of excellence. Academic performance of the past years of the School/College has brought the students and the teachers much pride and hope to achieve greater heights of success in the coming years. In SSC Annual Exams 2021, the school has shown 100% result both in classes 9th & 10th and secured 04 positions out of Top 20. The School has been selected as one of the best Institution among the top ten schools in Peshawar, since 2012.

The introduction of F.A/F.Sc classes has given this institution a further boost, making its presence felt more strongly in the competitive environment of the University. We are very confident that the professional guidance and exemplary devotion of the management and teaching staff will bring this institution the fame and glory it deserves in the coming years.
Our Vision:

Agricultural University Public School & College provides quality education for its students to develop them to think on a global scale. While being profoundly dedicated to the traditions and values that make them the proud citizens of their own country, who are well acquainted with the environment they live in, and who are capable of forming individual and group relationships to cope with the ongoing and forthcoming challenges, locally and globally.

School Administrative System:

With the increase of students strength in Senior, Junior and College section, it was felt that different groups of classes should have their own administrative heads. Therefore, the school has been divided into three sections i.e.
The Junior section is headed by two teachers. (Nursery to I) & (II to IV) while Middle section (from Class V to Class VII) and Senior & College Section (from Class VIII to Intermediate) are headed by one teacher each.

The purpose of dividing the school into three sections is:
  • To decentralize administrative responsibilities.
  • To improve apprentice training so as to have a responsible and suitable number of administrative reserve in stock.
  • To make compact the scattered and diversified nature of day to day administrative and academic responsibilities.
  • To enhance and improve the academic and disciplinary standards.
  • To solve minor problems at lower level by mutual understanding and co-operation.
A unit in-charge acts as a coordinator in a hierarchical and lateral administrative setup and on academic side work, with a specified group of teachers to run the daily routine of curricular and co-curricular activities of the unit. It helps the Principal in day to day students affairs.

This system makes it possible for the teachers to discuss their problems with the unit In-charges promptly. It also provides an opportunity for capable teachers to gain experience in administration.

The purpose of dividing the school into three sections is:
